Presentation of the LLC66 67MM SILICONE OPTICAL COLLIMATOR
After the silicone optical collimator LLC66N7 Narrow Beam, Gaggione introduces five new references to meet market requirements for beam angles: LLC66M7 medium beam, LLC66W7 wide beam, LLC66L7 large beam, LLC66V7 very large beam and LLC66Z7 zoom beam.
Based on the same technological advances, these references will be the perfect achievement of the Narrow Beam version. This new range will thus produce different angles of light scattering with very high-quality beam results. Recommended to be coupled with COBs from 6 mm to 19 mm, this product range covers beam angles from 10° to 55° depending on the diameter of the light output surface.

First coupling system that integrates
a Collimating Optic and Dynamic Lens
GAGGIONE and LensVector have collaborated to develop a precision mechanical coupling system that brings together Gaggione’s highest performance LLC66N7 67mm narrow beam Collimating Optic with LensVector’s 65mm M2M Liquid Crystal Lens. This complete, modular “drop in” optical system solution enables digital control from the narrowest beam of light to the widest flood without mechanical intervention.
This combined solution can be applied to COBs and to the newest high-density LED arrays for smaller high-performance track fixtures and downlights that are used in demanding commercial lighting applications.

Optical collimator technology LLC66
All LLC66 references use our patented clearance angle technology. The special shape of the collimator inlet orifice provides the best compromise between beam angle, homogeneity and parasitic light. The special shape allows the best beam homogeneity on the market to be obtained while considerably reducing the parasitic light effect, which allows a simple integration without loss of light, as no collimator recess in a mechanical tube is required to cut the unwanted parasitic light outside the main beam.
How is Gaggione's LLC66 solution integrated?
We provide a complete integration ecosystem designed to allow a fast time to market while ensuring the best optical fit with the various LED and COB interface manufacturers. It consists of pre-assembled collimator assemblies and cage supports such as LLS66N02. A specific base has been developed to adapt to different LED and COB media environments with 6 different options depending on your preferences like LLH66B102. All of the LLC66 references use our patented negative draft angles technology.
The special shape of the collimator’s input port allows the best compromise to be achieved on beam angle versus homogeneity and stray light.
The special shape achieves the best beam homogeneity on the market while drastically reducing the stray light effect, allowing a straightforward integration with no light loss as no collimator recess in a mechanical tube is needed to cut the unwanted parasite light outside of the main beam.

LLC66Z7 Zoom Solution
LLC66Z7 is a clearance change solution for 70mm spot applications. In a single optical part, it allows a beam angle of 12 to 30 degrees with all the advantages of the LLC66N7’s narrow beam consistency. We also provide a complete integration ecosystem providing the rotation and position shift function to enable the fastest possible development cycle.
